This article will focus on some early week NBA news.  By the end of the week, and the next couple of weeks, most of the content will be geared toward College Football and the NFL.
Jennings working on everything
A little odd to see some non-news regarding Brandon Jennings.  Maybe this is a sign of how much buzz the Bucks have created on a national level.  Below is the note from ESPN regarding Jennings on the ESPN NBA Rumors, it is always fun to read positive things about your team:

Brandon Jennings and Tyreke Evans battled for the majority of the season last year for the billing of Rookie of the Year.  Evans ended up winning the award, while Jennings took third, but it was Jennings who actually won games and was a major contributor to a playoff team.

By most accounts Brandon Jennings had a great rookie year for the Milwaukee Bucks.  He came in as a longshot hope for most of us fans, he was too skinny, couldn’t shoot and was labeled numerous non-flattering things from ESPN(EspeciallySelfPromotingNetwork). 
Note:  I stole that ESPN thing, but love it.  Could the show “The Decision” have been a better example of how ridiculous that network has become?

And I do not care.  Individual awards are great for baseball or contract incentives.  In Football and Basketball they mean very little to fans who care about their team winning.  The pointlessness of the Rookie of the Year award could not have better evidence than this season.  Two weeks into the year the award was Brandon Jennings to lose, especially after his 55 point explosion, but as the year has went on Jennings scoring numbers have dropped while the wins have piled up for his team.

The article details Jenning’s experience oversees, his hot start to his rookie season, and his current struggles as defenses adjust to his style.  It is worth the read and nice to see a Buck get some good print from one of sports big boys.
I have had a lot of complaints about ESPN in the past couple of years but a good job has to be credited here.

Brandon Jennings is coming off the worst game of his rookie year with the loss against the Magic.  Jennings scored only two points, and had his defense questioned by Scott Skiles.  What an opportunity for a big game tonight to rebound. 
Players love putting on a show in New York at Madison Square Garden.  Last year Lebron and Kobe took turns lighting it up at MSG, when Jordan came back from baseball he officially arrived back with a 50+ game at MSG, now Jennings can get a chance for redemption.

It is nice to see that for what most would have considered a down month where Brandon Jennings struggled, he was still able to average 16.7 points, 6.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds for the month and win Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month.
I will take any good publicity for the Bucks in a month where the team really struggled.  Jennings is the team’s future and provides real hope for the first time since the big three.

The Bucks lost a tough one last night.  I am not sure what was tougher, the loss on Dirk’s bounce all over the rim, backboard, shot clock, rafter, shot at the buzzer or listening to the Mavs announcers all game.  The game was only available on NBA TV so we were subjected to the Mavs hometown tv crew, it got really old after a few minutes.
