My first night of NBA ATS picks got off to a rough 1-3 start. A big reason why it is tough to bet NBA ATS was displayed last night when Portland won by 9, missing the 9.5 cover. If I were to bet real money, I would likely stick to straight money lines.

I do not see how it can be possible that Shaq can be very effective on the second night of a back to back. I imagine his minutes will be limited tonight.

Boston will win, but they will be happy with a seven point win. They are not going to overly exert themselves, they are a veteran team.

This is too many points to give a superstar. Chris Paul will keep the Hornets in it.
I am going against all teams that are playing a back to back. Houston has back to back road games, always tough. I do not know how much Shaq will be able to give the Cavs on the second night of a back to back.
